The old in the new…

“There’s naught as nice as th’ smell o’ good clean earth,
except th’ smell o’ fresh growin’ things when th’ rain falls on ’em.”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

Sunny strolls are here again,
be it in the white, the yellow
or the blue
Lovely green, cute red and pure purple
all turning
the old into new

Branches are listening
to the skies up to their old tricks
and tales,
Clouds keep rustling an airy murmur
along
my meandering trails

Lovely dry leaves on the ground, early spring’s only solace,
I admire it all in awe,
Playful petals popping up here and there
like hurried smiles,
both ripe and raw

“We need places to scream and run wild as well as places to be quiet.”
― Marty Rubin

    1. Thank you, Brian, happy you liked my photos. The word “emerging” makes me think of Neptune rising from the sea, holding that staff, or Aphrodite emerging out of the foam in that giant shell 😀 Yes, here spring is slowly blooming and blossoming all around… a bit of color finally 🙂
