“Maturity is the moment one regains one’s innocence.”

I spent the end of March weekend taking quite a few photos of some small twigs ‘sacrificed” from an apricot tree when tweaking, saved by me and kept in a vase for a couple of days… quite a bit of a journey,
the tiny buds opened in a pale pink blossom splendor!
These are both phone photos and photos taken with my two Nikon cameras over the weekend, quite an array of macro attempts and so,
…sharing here to join Brian’s Last On The Card on bushboy’s world blog.
Well, in my case the challenge seems to actually be called.. Last photos on the cards, 😀
.. nevertheless, I hope you enjoy all the pretty pink late March buds and bloom!
Nicole
I do love blossoms in Spring and you always have lots. It is satisfying to grow from a twig isn’t it.
Thanks for joining in Nicole 😀

Excellent photos, Nicole. The macro shots are crisp, and the colors are simply beautiful. The quote you use to open, along with your story of how you tended to the young buds, is a great way to start a week (especially after the beautiful spring weather we had this past weekend. “Maturity is the moment one regains one’s innocence.” I wish you a continued, peaceful, and beautiful spring.
